that the use of a cell phone is a privilege. I know that cell phone use can have serious ( social, physical, financial ) consequences.

	I know that cell phone is a distraction and I will not use when I am walking,biking or otherwise moving.
	I will only answer calls or respond to texts if I know who it is. My friends can use my cell phone only in an emergency.

	I will not send hostile messages ( be mean , cruel or prank call anyone ).
	I will not take pictures of nudity or violence, and I will not send or post pictures/videos of anyone without their permission.

	I will always answer phone calls from my parents. If I miss their call, I will call them back immediately.
	My parents can inspect my phone - incoming/outgoing texts, call history, photos - at any time.
	I will tell my parents all my cell phone and voicemail pass words.
	I will tell my parents if I am being harassed or bullied by someone on my cell phone.

	I will model good behavior on my cell phone, including not using my cell phone while driving and not using my cell phone at the dinner table.
	I will be available to answer any questions my tween has about cell phone responsibility.
	I will help my child if they tell me about any worrying message they’ve received.
	I will give my child warning(s) before I take their cell phone away.
